It's been a while. As you can tell I've not updated in a long time. I think this blog has ran it's course. It's where I came to talk about my boys premature births and the years that followed. They are five now, starting school next week as a matter of fact. Things are going great, but we are all at a different point in our lives and while my boys will always be remembered as tiny preemies babies in my mind, it's time to move past that. To celebrate their lives now as five year old healthy, happy growing boys.
I will keep this blog up. Blogs are where I went when my boys were born premature. I looked at many, many blogs of preemie babies. I drew encouragement from many of them and my heart broke for many more. If this blog can give some other parent that type of encouragement that would be wonderful. We are still here, enjoying life and all that comes with twin boys, but I won't be updating this blog anymore. I won't say never, because you never know, but it won't be anytime soon. I do still check my e-mail linked to this blog and I still am able to see when new comments are added, so if you find it and want to say something or email me, please feel free to do so.
Thank you for your support and encouragements over the years. I myself come back just to see how far we have come. Sometimes I leave with tears and sometimes with a smile. I'd don't regret starting this blog one bit and I'm so very glad it's all here in one place for me to visit and remember, because when you are in the throws of it sometimes you forget just what went on.
I'll leave you with a few recent picture of Kolton and Karter. Thank you again.

Gingerbread Houses
These houses kicked my tail. I had to read and re-read the instructions and even then I didn't put the icing bag together right. After a bit of frustration and the boys saying a thousand times "when can we decorate them" I figured them out and away they went.
They had so much fun! They would eat some candy and then put some on the houses, eat some more, put some more on the houses. Both the boys are really enjoying Christmas this year and all the goodies that go along with it.
I enjoy seeing the excitement in their eyes as Christmas draws nearer. They can hardly wait to see what Santa has brought them. I can hardly wait to see their faces on Christmas morning!

Christmas Tour 2010
I love Christmas time and I love all the twinkling lights that go with it. Each year I look forward to the Christmas Tours online. I'm nosy and I like to have a peek into other peoples homes and lives so these tours are right up my ally.
Here's mine, though it's late. You can see many, many more here. Also keep in mind I did not clean for you. So the toys and messed up tree skirt, is just keeping it real!
