While looking through yesterday's paper I found the Target toy book. As I was thumbing through Kolton saw this.
He started out saying "I want dis" then it moved to "I wanna ride dis". I tried to explain to him that it's in a book, that we don't have one. He just kept on insisting. He became more and more distressed and finally broke out into a fit. No amount of trying to explain was working he was just getting more worked up and saying over and over while pointing at the picture "I wanna ride dis". Jimmy tried to distract him and take the paper away that didn't work he got even more upset, somewhere in there the paper ripped a little and he came unglued. I ended up having to sit him in the time out chair for him to calm down.
That's the first time he has seen some sort of advertising and wanted it. I'm sure there will be more to come over the next years.

My boys love getting toy catalogs and Wal-mart sales bills in the mail. They both go through them and find all the things they want. We have some that Josiah has had for so long I've had to tape them up multiple times. They will carry them around to Grandma's and church so they can show people the things they want. It's so funny.

Ha, we saw one of those bad boys at the park this weekend and my husband was like, I wanna ride dis! He wants to get one for the babies and mean Mommy is putting her foot down!
